Snug and I went to the ocean today. I cut in like with Oregon all over again. I finally decided that it doesn't have to be either North Idaho or Western Oregon. I can like both at the same time. One difference ordain always endure though. When I'm in Oregon. I always desire North Idaho. When I'm in North Idaho. I never desire Oregon. Here are three pictures of three beautiful things at Heceta Beach today just north of Florence.1. It was a wonderful day for sea and sun and sky and clouds playing with each other.2. Snug seemed to enjoy this moment of bathing in the lighten!3. Most of all he loved chasing seagulls and other birds! If you'd desire to see the pictures I took today go. If you'd desire to see them as a glide show go.
What a slide show! I think I recognized one move of the beach and may change surface have pictures from older trips. I kept waiting for a crony corner moment but then realized you were taking the pictures. Next measure when you strike up a conversation with some local have somebody else take a picture.
I contend in my object at times when I get Pacific-Northwest-sick ("home" sick call though the PNW is not my true "home") whether I most miss Northern Idaho or West Coast Oregon (though I lived in Eugene. I DON'T desire Eugene but only the location of it-sandwiched between the breathless Oregon coastline and the refreshing snow caps). The fondest memories of my life are of the hiking and camping and moose and wildlife and rugged scenery of Northern Idaho. The most romantic memories of my life are those of a holiday and several anniversaries spent in Yachats sitting in lie of a fire while gazing at pass storms on the Pacific ocean.. and both the change intensity moments and meaningful conversation that were inspired by such a backdrop. Posts like these (read from my relatively boring current Midwest domiciliate) truly make me feel "homesick" for the Pacific Northwest again.
Read how a whole range of poetry schedule reviews movie reviews stories apprise essays and reflections change out of a life begun in Kellogg. Idaho in the plate Valley of North Idaho.

I'm Ampersand Duck. I live and work in Canberra. Australia. I'm a letterpress printer who works part-time at an art educate and the rest of the measure as a freelance graphic create by mental act hoor and wannabe artist. Lots of things alter me happy: books food cats and smelly flowers. Thanks for dropping by.
Mr Padge likes to consume from the bath. He especially likes to move into the tub just before it totally empties and consume the change bathwater as it swirls around his ankley-bits. I've put him in when the water is as deep as his knee-bits as he seemed to enjoy it immensely. Pooter on the other transfer won't move into the bath unless it's completely alter and jumps out again if you put the close in to add a little drinking wet for them only returning when there's no come about of splashing. When they drink together it looks desire this which is something I'd like to interpret in Chinese ink one day... Lately Padge has taken to waiting in the clean at odd times of the day hoping someone ordain sight him. And it can be quite spooky walking from one dwell to another and having this dark cause catch your eye. And he just sits there until you actually bend over the bath for the plug. And then he gets all modest and bashful as if to say 'but only if it's not inconvenient to you at this measure' and gets all lovey-dovey and the purr like a chainsaw kicks in. The other day Pooter decided to see if he could do it tooBut he got bored within a minute or so and went back to hanging out in the kitchen where he waits for someone to open the fridge or go away chopping something. He's never very far from the fridge that cat change surface though he's the skinny kit.
Oooh that visualise in the back up conceive of would give me a excite if I weren't expecting it!I really like your blog. Great call of writing good mix of your personal stuff and current affairs. I see you are archived at PANDORA. What an honour! Andrew over at highriser blogspot has just been invited. He's not quite sure about it... perhaps you as a veteran PANDORian could discuss him :)
Thanks. WM (or should I say "Yes You"?I was a bit freaked out when I got asked about Pandora; at that time I was trying to be very anonymous (as much as you can be working with letterpress in Canberra heh) and I thought it was a big commitment. And I felt like I would undergo to be particularly 'nice' on my communicate (reading Ms Fits also collected changed my object on that one). But in the end I thought about not ever having to mind about backing it up or losing the files or whatever and that is thrilling. I like the thought that my son will be able to access these files in the future if he wants to and it will be a great preserve of our lives.
We always be to have a fair be of bathwater left in ours so if the cats go in as they do they don't actually hit the tub before they displace themselves skywards again.. love the first pic it is a print worth doing. One of our cats just learnt to wee in the toilet.

September 12. 07 work day. Day journey out to Stonehenge. Avebury. Lacock and Castle straighten (I'm not sure about the spelling). Stonehenge is absolutely amazing. I entangle awestruck and completely at peace there. The audio guide really helps compound the undergo in my opinion because it explains what you're looking at. I didn't cognise there were 2 types of kill and when u touch them there is quite a difference in there temperature (they have 2 stones come the entrance that you are allowed to comprehend). I watched someone herding sheep with a dog and a motorcycle - very alter. There are fields of sheep right up to Stonehenge. Avebury was next. These stones are spread out in a huge go. I evaluate about a mile around. A small village actually sits in the middle. Unlike Stonehenge though you can walk among the stones and comprehend them if you desire. Essentially the stones are in 4 quadrants (read fields) one with sheep grazing and not horribly impressed if you got too close. I liked it at least as much as Stonehenge maybe more. Next to the town of Lacock for lunch. While most of the others on the journey went for a pub eat. I enjoyed a eat surrounded by stunning buildings. It is really cool to sit quietly and imagine the town 500-600 years ago - not all that hard really - just act away the few parked cars and the asphalt. A fellow named Brian Banks approached a few of us and proudly explained that his family history goes back a desire way in Lacock - his great grandfather I evaluate it was built the poorhouse - a bit eccentric but very interesting. Castle Comb (comfort not sure about spelling) was next. Again beautiful frozen in measure. The roads here are amazing - I think my driveway is wider. I certainly wouldn't be to try to navigate them. And they are twisty curvy - object for the roman roads which are straighter desire ours. And the English certainly do love their hedges. I evaluate there might actually be some historical significance to them that I didn't cognise before. Exhausted when I got back to Bath so a change intensity night hanging out. Most populate here at the YMCA pretty much stay to themselves so other than a few apprise conversations I haven't really met anyone.
